Interesting Fact

Guillermo Stabile was a 25 year old striker who made his international debut for Argentina against Mexico in his countries second World Cup game. Stabile scored a hat-trick and ended up netting eight times in the tournament but couldn’t prevent his side losing to hosts Uruguay in the final.
After the World Cup Stabile would move to Italian club Genoa and he would never play for his country again despite scoring eight goals in only four games.
